Delapré Abbey’s fine-dining restaurant, Hibiscus, has been named Restaurant of the Year 2024 at the Weetabix Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards. This accolade comes just weeks after it earned its second AA Rosette, highlighting its exceptional standards.

Head Chef Bart Polinksi, who won Chef of the Year last year, celebrated with his team. “Winning this award typically boosts bookings by up to 25%,” Bart noted. “We’ve already seen a surge in reservations, and we’re excited to welcome even more guests to experience our seasonal, locally sourced menus.”

Hibiscus prides itself on using local ingredients, from dairy products to herbs and vegetables grown in Northamptonshire. The current menu features dishes like Sweet Potato Cappuccino and Fig Tart Tatin. Restaurant Manager Valeria Sula ensures each dish is perfectly paired with wines from around the world.

Bart added, “We couldn’t have achieved this without the incredible support from our local suppliers, dedicated staff, and loyal customers. Your support helps us thrive and also supports Delapré Abbey’s charitable work, preserving this historic site and promoting community wellbeing."
