Determined Trio Smash Fundraising Target in Three Peaks Challenge
Three dedicated colleagues from Acorn Analytical Services have raised an impressive £5,530 for Northampton charity Cynthia Spencer Hospice after successfully completing the challenging Three Peaks Challenge. This achievement far exceeded their original target of £3,000.
Dan Crask, Max Wright, and Alex Rust conquered the UK’s three highest mountains—Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon—in just over 24 hours, covering a combined elevation of 11,182 feet. Despite traffic delays between the peaks, the team remained determined and powered through to complete the challenge.
Initially, Dan and Alex had pledged to shave their heads if the team reached their goal before setting off, which they proudly followed through on.
Max Wright expressed their gratitude: “We are so grateful for all the fantastic support we have received. Climbing the three highest peaks in the UK in a day was an immense challenge, but we did it! We’re proud of our achievement and the difference this money will make in supporting Cynthia Spencer Hospice and the families they care for.”
